It’s time to hop on your shark and jump between buildings cause the first trailer for Chainsaw Man is upon us! The official Twitter account for Chainsaw Man revealed today that a talk for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto‘s rip-roaring manga series will be held at the previously announced MAPPA STAGE 2021 -10th Anniversary- event, with the first trailer for the anime series being shown off.

Currently announced guests for the Chainsaw Man talk stage at the event are manga editor Shihei Rin, and MAPPA president Manabu Otsuka. Who knows who else might show up? Other announced stages at the MAPPA event include JUJUTSU KAISENAttack on Titan Final SeasonZOMBIE LAND SAGA REVENGEHeion Sedai no Idaten-tachi, Yasuke, and RE-MAIN.

The first part of Chainsaw Man finished in Weekly Shonen Jump on December 14 alongside an announcement of a second part that will be published on the digital Shonen Jump+ service and a TV anime series produced at MAPPA. The English version was simulpubbed on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump app, which are also releasing physical volumes of the series. Viz describes the first volume as such:
